The Research Support Program for Groupsand Units of Exellence in the Region of Murcia has idetified 20 research groups and units of exellence in the Region and remodelled the working relationship between them and the Seneca Foundation. On the basics of their proven high-quality track-record, these groups enjoy the stability of a financial framework spanning five years, with a high degree of autonomy in fund managemente and goal setting, albeit requiring ambitious proposals for research activities that are original and highly competitive, as well as fulfilling specific commitments in terms of related scientific, economic and social issues.
